This unique partnership blends community empowerment with dynamic physical wellness. Harriet Tubman Community Organisation, rooted in promoting cultural heritage and strength among youth and community members, has joined forces with Calorie Crush Fitness to offer an extensive suite of group fitness classes. Together, they provide high-energy sessions—from cardio kickboxing that boosts endurance, to women’s self-defense classes designed to instil confidence and security. The collaboration also includes body toning workouts, rejuvenating yoga sessions, and specialized programs such as kids & youth martial arts and core fitness. This comprehensive initiative not only aims to improve physical health but also fosters community bonding, resilience, and cultural pride.
